Upon inspection of a number of cDNA clones encoding human stoned B (hStnB), we noticed that the original sequence reported in the above scientific report carries a small deletion of two nucleotides that affect the N‐terminus of the encoded protein (amino acids 1–103).
However, the majority of hStnB cDNA clones contain two additional base pairs resulting in an alternative N‐terminal end of the hStnB protein. This sequence has been deposited with GenBank and is available under accession No. AF449430.
